Bio
Isaiah has appeared with his company, Flux Theatre Ensemble, in thirteen full productions: Isaac (AM I DEAD? The Untrue Narrative of Anatomical Lewis, the Slave) Tartuffe (Tartuffe), Dennis (Salvage), Leonard (Jane the Plain), Sam (Honey Fist), Mac (DEINDE), Aimes (Menders), The Messenger / The Lawyer (Jacob’s House), Lee (The Lesser Seductions of History), Enoch (Angel Eaters), Flute (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Clarin (Life is a Dream), and Prince Gutty (Rue). Isaiah’s full-length plays developed with Flux include The Transcendental Etudes and ¡Viva Fidel!.
Besides Flux, Isaiah has worked with many cool and awesome companies all over the city, including Gideon Productions, Boomerang Theater Company, EBE Ensemble, Theatre-Studio, Inc., The NY Fringe Festival, The Queens Players, and the Jekyll & Hyde Club, doing everything from classical work to improv comedy to musicals to vaudeville to futuristic dystopic sci-fi.
Outside of New York City, he has worked with the NY Renaissance Faire, Vassar Powerhouse Theater, Lafayette College, Catskills’ IDEA, and Forestburgh Regional Playhouse and has been selected to perform at PAX EAST three times.
Film work has included Stateside, Window Shopping, Shooting Vegetarians, Zelimo, and Troma‘s Poultrygeist.
Isaiah holds a B.A. in Theater and Music from Amherst College. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Jessa and their cat who thinks she’s a dog, Juno. When he isn't acting or teaching, Isaiah is a working photographer specializing in theatrical photography.
